John Payne

Over the weekend I met so many people that are on the list.  I know I can't remember them all, but I recall meeting Louis Toledo, John Payne, Chuck Hroch, Steven Lee, Dave Arzapalo, and many others.  I got to meet Noreen from the LIS Memories list.   Was also able to say hi to Hunch and Judy!  I know a number of people were looking for me, and I am sorry I was not able to see everyone.

Saturday morning, we had the CultTVman SF Modeling seminar.   John Zizolfo helped me out with this one, bringing some of his own kits.  The room was pretty full, and we ran until about 12:15. We talked about the current state of SF Modeling -- Ertl, Revell Monogram, and Polar Lights as well as the garage industry.   We talked about the basics of modeling and more on lighting and other advanced techniques.    We had a full room, and it was great to get others talking about what they build and difficulties they encountered.   I hope this is something we can do again.
