Friday evening, my good friend Mike Warshaw came by. Mike wrote the great Inc. magazine article about Polar Lights a few
years ago.
He is also a big Aurora and Batman fan -- on of his Batmobiles is on the site. We spent a lot of time wandering around and ultimately killing a number of beers in the bar with Ziz.
Mike,
Ziz and I also spent a lot of time in the celeb tent on Friday night. We all had our photos taken with Tracy Lords. Couldn't resist.
Tracy is a very attractive lady and you should have heard Mike charm her as he asked for her autograph. We moved around the tent which was populated by people like Ray Parks, Marina Sirtis, most of the Lost in Space cast, most of the F Troop cast [Mike had to get their pics too!]. One guest that really thrilled me was Lisa Loring. She played Wendesday on The Addams Family. She is still an attractive lady and was very nice. I returned to the tent on Saturday to meet Ken Weatherwax who played Pugsley. Friday night, I also chatted with Marta Kristen a bit. She still makes my heart flutter and I first met her at Frightvision where she bought me a beer. Only celeb that has ever been that kind! Star Trek's Marina Sirtis was also in the tent. She is better looking now than she was on the series. Several other celebs were in rooms inside the hotel. I was able to say hi to Brinke Stevens and Forry Ackerman.
Over the years I have met a lot of stars at these shows. At Chiller, these people were most accessible and friendly. Perhaps more than any other show I have attended.

Diceman Creations produced a number of wonderful new models. My favorite was the Jonathan Harris Tribute bust. I
picked up a number of these and will have them for sale on the site very soon.
I ran a photo on the Exclusives page several weeks ago. It is even sweeter in person! I also really thought the Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman kit was cool. Ed White sculpted both kits, and they were sweet!
Ed Bowkley kindly forwarded me this photo of Jonathan Harris with the new Diceman Creations Jonathan Harris Tribute bust! That's Ed White to the left of Jonathan.
Speaking
of Jonathan Harris, I had the pleasure of meeting the man himself again. I always look forward to seeing Jonathan as he is such a vibrant person.
He was with another of my internet friends, Ray Dutczak from the LIS Memories mail list. Jonathan firmly shook my hand and asked how I'd been. I passed along a greeting to him from Ron Gross who unfortunately could not join us. Jonathan had one of the new Diceman busts with him and was very impressed by it.
